Luke

My name is Luke, and I am one of the Budleigh and Woodbury family members

Prior to coming to Barkley Manor I worked at a dog kennel further west as a Manager. I thought making the move over would be difficult, as saying bye to so many dogs I’d made strong relationships with wasn’t easy.  However, the first day at Barkley Manor I saw so many old faces of dogs that come here including one who was my teachers pet back at the old kennel!  I’m looking to further my skills here and getting to make so many more 4 legged friends.

My hobbies outside of work pretty much consist of soccer, I’m involved with Te Atatu AFC and the New Zealand Crosswhites who I play for in a competitive summer league, including 4 tournaments where we have traveled over to Australia to compete.

My favourite dog would have to be Copper Retriever, he did have an unfair advantage winning this award as he was my teachers pet back at the old kennel.

I love being part of the Barkley family and meeting all of you and your dogs.
